UPDATED – 10th of May,

Unfortunately, we have to postpone the festival again because of the new restrictions regarding physical film events in Turkey due to the Covid pandemic. It seems movie  theaters and venues will remain closed for some more time and we are determined to realize the festival in a physical venue.  So we’ve decided to wait for the  certain opening dates of the film theatres and a clearer definition from the local authorities on event organization restrictions.

Sadly we have to postpone the festival to an uncertain dates under these uncertain conditions and we will let you know the new dates as soon as possible.

We are sure we will be seeing each other and celebrating your films very soon!

Old announcement:

The 2021 Changing Perspectives has got new dates! Given the uncertainty regarding cultural events in Turkey due to the Covid pandemic, the ICPSFF team saw no other option but to postpone the festival, which was supposed to happen in March.

The new dates are now May 25 to 29, when it is more likely that our event can take place in a safe way, for both our filmmakers and our audience.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the directors and producers who have submitted their short films for their understanding, trust, and patience during these unstable times. ICPSFF could not happen without their collaboration and partnership. We are currently in the process of selecting the films and, from what we’ve seen so far, this year’s is a great selection of short movies, and will make for an amazing edition of Changing Perspectives.

The list of selected films will be announced in the next few weeks, and we can hardly wait to be reunited with everyone and celebrate these incredible movies. In the meanwhile, be safe and healthy, and we will see you soon!

2021 Festival poster was created by brazilian designer Pedro Carvalho, inspired by our 2021 theme: Isolation.
