The filmmaker’s mother watches a propaganda film about the Down to the Countryside Movement in 1970s China. The policy, instituted by Mao Zedong, sent millions of urban teenagers to work in impoverished farming villages.
Yapımcının annesi 1970’lerde Çin’deki Taşraya Dönüş Hareketi hakkında bir propaganda filmi izler. Mao Zedong tarafından yürütülen bu politikayla milyonlarca kentsel genç yoksul tarım köylerine çalışmaya gönderilir.
